Reason...
So the reason I haven't continued my mini series yet is because I've been sick. Got a mild case of hypothermia (yes Amy, no genius points for me) and things went downhill from there. I've been well take care of though. Ian has been here the entire time - blankets in one hand and cool rag in the other as I constantly switch temperatures from hot to cold. I don't know how he can do that so tirelessly for hours, but he does. Chelsey sat down and walked me through every circuits homework problem so I could feel like I actually got something done. Callen is doing the same with Mech & Mat. Andrew did all the talking on rounds, so I just followed him around and waved at everyone. Brandon's been checking in on me to see if I need anything. Lily and some other residents check in periodically and bring medicine. Everyone has been so wonderful in taking care of me. I am thankful to have such wonderful friends!

Words can't express how thankful I am that you have such amazing friends watching out for you. I knew that even if I'd gone up, there wasn't anything I could do that wasn't already being done. Thanks to everyone, but especially to Ian!!!

Laura, I think this past weekend when you were so sick, probably best exemplified what love is all about. You had the help of many, but particularly one who showed what love and caring really means and put it into action. We were very thankful for Ian and the way that he cared for you and seemed to know what you needed most - chicken soup, baked potato, etc. Take care of yourself and hopefully we won't have any more snow days this spring.
